I've been invited to California to interview Hollywood director Taylor Hackford. Hackford's connection to the Johnnie Johnson story is that he directed "Chuck Berry: Hail! Hail! Rock 'N' Roll"

The 1986 documentary shot in St. Louis that made the music world rediscover Johnnie Johnson. If you've never seen that documentary, or it's been a few years since you've seen, you should definitely check out the dvd that was released recently. It's a rock fan's dream.
